In All Good Conscience

Acts 23:1 “And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.”

Paul made a very bold statement.  He declared that he has literally lived in all good conscience before God.  Can we say this?  The principle here is that we are to live in good standing before the Lord.  This man knew that God would have been pleased with the way in which he lived.

Let us examine ourselves.  If we were honest before the Lord today we would see that we could not honestly make such a statement.  Those that hear “well done” are those that will finish “well”.  We must examine our lives and see what is not right before the Lord.

Today’s Challenge:  Start today by living in good standing before the Lord.
